About Dr. Proussaefs
Dr. Proussaefs has been a dentist since 1993, and a prosthodontist since 2000. He has been an Associate Profession at Loma Linda University (LLU) where he conducts seminars for future dentists and specialists. He has authored over 50 papers in the dental literature and received numerous National and International level awards for his papers. He has been on the Editorial Board for several major scientific journals.
Dr. Proussaefs has extensive experience in “real life” dentistry. He served as the managing doctor for big dental clinics before starting his first practice in Encino, California in 2005. Since then, he has either bought or started “from scratch” a variety of dental practices, while he founded the California Institute of Dental Education (CIDE), a California Dental Board, ADA, and AGD approved continuing education training center for dental staff and dentists.
He has been a licensed broker since 2009 and has successfully completed many transactions as a principal involving real estate or business assets. Before offering his experience and expertise as a broker, he has “walked the path” many times. As a broker, he specializes on what he knows best: Transitioning dental practices. His vast experience in the dental field, his interaction with colleagues as a faculty member at LLU, as an educator at the CIDE, and as a publisher, his active involvement as a practitioner along with his willingness to share his knowledge and experience makes him a unique broker when a practitioner considers transitioning a dental practice.
Dr. Proussaefs has been working with several other professionals for many years. His professional team includes attorneys, accountants, bankers, equipment specialists, escrow officers, vendors, general contractors, and other professionals that will bring their expertise together for a successful transition.
As a broker, the philosophy Dr. Proussaefs has implemented can be summarized in the following 5 words:
“We treat colleagues, not clients.”
